2008 - ANOTHER GREAT
YEAR!
A SPECIAL HOLIDAY MESSAGE FROM ROADRUNNER LISA SALETTA
2007 proved to be great year for the band and with much success that year we decided to take fewer jobs just to catch our breath a little..

This year we had the privilege of playing at The Buffalo Club once again, lots of Casino shows, The Buffalo Yacht Club amd several
private parties. Of course, the summer schedule in the park had us playing all over Western New York. Various towns such as
Cheektowaga, Tonawanda, Hamburg, and Salamanca, just to name a few.  Casino high rollers birthday parties are always my favorite.!

Once again, in 2008 our band was often requested by the people in the various towns due to our upscale performance in vocals, music,
and song selection which has given The Roadrunners a great reputation.

Looking back to when The Roadrunners started more than 8 years ago, we played coffee houses and corner clubs. I never would have
imagined the band would have come to this type of success!

We have many more people to thank this year.  A few to mention are Mr Dan Franklin, Club Manager at The Buffalo Club, Debbie
Morocco and Ilene Miklos at Seneca Niagara Casino for the private parties and seasonal performances, also club members at
Briarwood Country Club, Dr Michael Hong and Buffalo Yacht Club, Dave Elder with Party Squad, Jeff Lange at Marinaccio's
Restaurant, Rosalie and Jerry Keicher, Assemblyman Dan Burling, as well as all those who work for the various towns and book our
group every summer.

Of course I want to thank the band for their dedication and commitment. Without them The Roadrunners would not have been able to
have such a great year.

Lead guitar vocals and song writer,  Mr Ed Bentley, who is also a member of the rockabilly Hall of Fame nationally.

Key board and vocals, Mr Dana Rossier. Dana also plays bass for the band at times and has been part of The Roadrunners for 3 years.

Bass guitar and vocals, Mr Michael Hill, who also happens to be the comedian in the band.

Meanwhile, I continue to be responsible for percussion as well as managing, booking, advertising, marketing and accounting duties for
the group.

Also, I want to thank some of our followers for their support and dedication.  Debbie and Jim Jauch, Lou and Carol and Chuck and Suzie
Schwultz, Liz Zilbaur, Joe Persico, Lonnie Konnikoff, Bob Stevenson, June Franklin, Louise and Wayne Mentz, Ron Letko, Marylou
Saur, Chuck Chazz, John Mooney, Charleen Gore, Scott Gardner, Chuck Chazz, and Tom Radon.   Without you the band would not been
as successful as it has been.

Finishing the year with much success,  I'm curious to see where 2009 will take us. The Roadrunners wish everyone a safe and happy
holiday.  We hope to see you all again in 2009.

Happy Holidays,
LISA
